THE PRICE OF APOSTASY

Samuel Ministries has witnessed numerous cases where nearly every Christian convert from Islam is ostracized--and excluded from their family or society--by relatives and the wider Muslims community.

Many Muslim nations have Sharia Law, where blasphemy (speaking against Islam, Muhammad, or the Quran) and apostasy (leaving Islam) are criminal offenses. The price Muslim Background Believers pay for following Christ is a wonderful display of our God's glory and clear evidence of the Gospel's transforming power. Turning from Islam to Christianity comes at a great cost; some believers are persecuted by family members, while others are targeted by community members & leaders.

I personally faced this horrible situation. As a former Muslim Background Believer, when I left Islam to follow Christ, my own family disowned and ostracized me.​ When I started sharing my faith with Muslim friends here in America, I ended up losing all of them. ​

In America, I began reading the Bible and researching both Christianity and Islam to verify what I had been taught my entire life. However, I was unable to back up the teachings of  my own religion. That is how my journey to finding Jesus began!

We have a passion and desire to equip Christians, giving them the necessary tools to approach Muslims, answer their objections and questions, and ultimately lead them to Jesus.

Samuel Ministries is passionate about reaching out to Muslims because it breaks our hearts that they are so devoted to something that is not the truth. We want Muslims to know that Christianity is the truth and that Jesus is the only way to be saved and go to heaven.
